October 2022 Home Product Recommendations

As Good Housekeeping’s senior home editor, I come across tons of home-related products, both good and bad. But there are some special finds that are just too great to keep to myself. That’s why I’m sharing my favorite home items with you — our readers — here on our website every month in the hope that you’ll appreciate them as much as I do.

Cozy. That’s the best word to sum up my October home favorites. We’re more than a month into fall and when it comes to decorating for the season, I crave warm colors, luxurious textures and decorative objects that will add visual interest to every inch of my home. While there’s always room for pumpkin decorations, I’ve decided to give them a rest this year in favor of more sophisticated picks — think a faux fur rug, a sherpa ottoman and a vegan leather planter (yes, autumn is a great time to bring the outdoors in with greenery).
